Robert Lee of the Providence Journal has this story--and after reading so much about Rodney's season-ending injury I can say that I'm glad for this piece.

Several of the Patriots said that coach Bill Belichick challenged and pushed them all week to get ready for Denver. It was their opportunity to go out and earn some respect of their own.
