So , check this out . Matt Cassel threw for 400 yards last nite and the Patriots still lose to the Jets 34-31 . You already know that .  It was a double wammy for me though as I have Kerry Collins , Donovan McNabb and Matt Cassel on my Fantasy Team . Ok , so Last week I put Kerry 'cause he's on a hot streak (sorry , severe understatment ) . Collins gets me my win . After last week I put Kerry on the bench in favor of Donovan ( against Cinnci ) well DUH . Then Matt goes and scores 36 fantasy points on my bench ....... Turns out . That was the DUH moment . Oh well , I guess that's the way it goes sometimes . I think McNabb will still come through for me and I did manage to get the 10 points from Wes Welker . So , All is not lost , I'm 5-5 after starting 1-4 . The Patriots will rebound from this and learn from it . That's what we do in New England .

side note : wasn't Eric Mangini a little too nice to the Patriots at the PC after the game . Talk about buring the hatchet . ( para phrazing here ) " I think they exicuted beautifully , I think there a very respectable team " ... YADA YADA YADA . This comming from a guy , who , not too long ago , single handedly , dragged us into "Spy Gate" , called us "cheaters" . Yeah , I'd say he buried that hatchet under  freakin' Mt. Everest . I wonder what his reaction would have been , had they been the ones who lost by 3 in over-time ?
