get over yourself '72 dolphins!

So I was still enjoying the fact that the Patriots pulled off the way too close win over the Ravens and then I heard the quotes from Berman's Countdown interview with Mercury Morris and Bob Griese. Seriously...can't these guys from the '72 dolphins just move on? I understand not wanting to lose your biggest claim to fame...but the Patriots running the table would not take that season away from them.
What the Patriots have done this year is impressive. They've been able to put together an offense that's production will probably never be duplicated and these guys can't stand that. Yes the '72 dolphins were undefeated...but they are also the team with the second easiest schedule to ever win the super bowl. Why aren't they bragging about that? Mercury Morris went on to say that if the Patriots go undefeated then they can be the wife of the undefeated dolphins. I mean...what does that sort of comment even really mean. If we had some way to have those dolphins play this year's patriots - the final score would probably make the redskins game seem close! So please get over yourself and realize that we aren't all five years old and when someone else succeeds it doesn't have to take away your accomplishments. So please Mercury Morris just sit back and watch the pats make history and keep your comments to yourself!
