ugly start to the preseason
August 7, 2008

Not exactly a good start to the preseason but I didn't expect the Pats to play a good first game. Tom Brady was taking the game off to let the backups have a shot. The offensive line didn't help these guy's chances. The Ravens defense seemed to be on top the Pats. Cassell just looked bad. Gutierrez played a bit better.O'Connell looked pretty good.

The Pats defense looked a bit better but they were still sloppy at times. They let Boller get too may big passes.

The only good thing was Gostkoski's kicks and the play of Jerod Mayo. Some of the other rookies also looked good too.

It wasn't quite the start I had hoped for but its only preseason too. Things will be better, especially when Tom is playing. Lets hope he doesn't get injured. Yikes!!!

The guys have their cut out for them this week.

I was really impressed with Pierre Woods, Shawn Crable, Jerod Mayo, and Terrence Wheatley. After watching the game last night the only thing the Pats need to work on is their offensive line. If we get more depth at those positions, the Pats have a good chance going 16-0 again; maybe even 19-0 this season. ...View More
