Years ago it was defense, now it's the offense
October 18, 2007

. . . It seemed in past seasons we couldn't keep a defender healthy, now we can't keep the offense healthy. . . ESPN reported earlier today that Morris will miss the Miami game this weekend and that Maroney is also expected not to play this weekend leaving the Patriots with Faulk and Eckel in the backfield. Now I have faith in Faulk, he was the running game for so long, but it's been a few years since he's had to carry the entire running game. Eckel we have yet to see much of so let's hope he's ready to step up. Watson is questionable to play this weekend, that might a short yardage threat. With a team that has so much depth as the Patriots do this year it definitely is upsetting to see them limited in their dimensions.  Thank god we have Brady.
